NEW MACHINE/HAND BINDING - By machine on front and by hand on back

This item is for replacing binding on a quilt.  Binding is the fabric on the outside edge of your quilt - it is understood to be replaced every now and then though many quilts have binding that is decades old! This service involves:

• Sewing a new binding onto the quilt front by machine, then turning to the back and hand sewing to the back
  
• In general this is done directly over the current binding - it is not removed
• Unless otherwise specified, new binding will be as close to the current color as possible

PRICING IS BY THE FOOT.  To measure your quilt, please add the width and length and multiply by 2, then round to the closest foot. Example:

• My quilt is 60" by 95"
• 60 + 95 = 155 
• 155 x 2 = 310
• 310 / 12 = 26 feet
• This quilt will need 26' of binding put on
